Makkura is believed to be an ancient race that was specialist in all things gem oriented, including making beads of glass, clay (ceramic) and gemstones.
The middle and biggest Makkura bead has an eye motive.
The eye motive on beads is used as a talisman, designed to protect the wearer from evil and ward off the evil that has been directed at them. 
 
This has been sleeping in the earth for a long time and have now returned to be of use again.
 
According to the experts the materials could be dated to periods within the first to twelfth century AD. So between 700 - 1000 years old. Collector item.
